DNB logs for June 2019
« on: July 15, 2019, 0959 UTC »
June was not a good month with days of very poor propagation experienced.

The total unique call signs heard in the period was 112 with the lowest on 1.711MHz (AK5 at 1105z) and the highest found on 2.784KHz (LD0 at 0330z).

The "company block" was again noted with OA1, OA4, OA7, OA9 & OA0 noted between 1.717MHz and 1.811MHz.

Another "company block" was also observed with RO2, RO3, RO4 & RO5 all logged between 1.749MHz and 1.783MHz.

The "company block" of running call signs in close frequency proximity seems to occur in the low part of the band between 1.700-1.900MHz and not beyond.

No "company block" frequency sections have been observed elsewhere.

FZ106 was noted on the exclusive Selcal activated frequency of 1.992.5MHz.

Yaesu FT-1000D, Yaesu FT-2000D, ICOM IC-736 HF/50MHz, ICOM IC R75 & Tecsun S-2000 to 450 feet of wire, 27MHz 1/2 wave CB antenna converted to 21MHz & a multi band vertical of dubious reliability.
