Blue Moon Radio 6850 AM 2230 UTC 18 July 2019
« on: July 18, 2019, 2234 UTC »
2230 UTC I have a carrier and some threshold audio here directly....I suspect this is of European origin.
2237 UTC Music now, but too weak to ID or shazam
2255 UTC Still have the carrier but the audio is just too low in the noise for copy
2309 UTC Signal is up a bit now and Shazam says "I Could Be So Good For You"-Dennis Waterman
2337 UTC Signal is just above the noise floor now as local sunset approaches  :) "Mustang Sally"-The Commitments (Per Shazam)
2339 UTC "Stir It Up"-Patti Labelle
2352 UTC "Life In A Northern Town"-Dream Academy
(Audio is hovering at the threshold level amidst light to moderate storm static...occasional ALE bursts)
2354 UTC "Will You?"-Hazel O'Conner (Per Shazam)
2358 UTC "Airport"-The Motors (Per Shazam)
0004 UTC 19 July 2019 "Walk of Life"-Dire Straits
0010 UTC "Somewhere In My Heart"-Aztec Camera (Per Shazam)
( Storm static level is increasing  :( )
0014 UTC "Everybody Wants To Rule The World"-Tears For Fears
0021 UTC "Mustang Sally"-The Commitments (Again.....)
0024 UTC "Stir It Up"-Patti Labelle
0028 UTC "Here I Stand"-Milltown Brothers (Per Shazam)
0030 UTC "Good Tradition"-Tanita Takiram (Per Shazam)
(Songs seem to be repeating....broadcast a loop of songs perhaps? Hmmm.....Blue Moon Radio possibly?)
Thanks for the show!

No luck with hearing an ID of any kind....can anyone ID this?  :)

2341 - If same station, music  audible off-and-on above noise on KiwiSDR In Norway.
0006 - "Walk of Life" Dire Straits
0036 - Weak audio still there
Signal is a little (very) better on U. Twente SDR

Slightly off topic but one of The Commitments was a neighbour of mine and I've imbibed with one or two other members of the so called group in  a local-ish pub.
