Frédéric Leroy: meat's become a scapegoat for vegans, politicians & the media because of bad science

A very interesting video, how the narrative on meat has been manipulated by those with a vested interest in selling you their highly processed, and high priced and high margin, substitutes.

Al, you're being very nice today. Did you find a roomy owl burrow for hurricane season to slow the brain bubbles?

Seriously though, when human societies made the move from "Man,The Scavenger" to "Man, The Hunter" and became a dominant predator at the end of the last major ice age, their ability to control fire turned vast swaths of woodlands into a semi-open "Savannahstan" overrun with tasty grazing animals, like horses, cattle, and goats.

From there it was a simple matter of finding the right grains to create the real engine of civilization, beer.

Ooooo yeah now I remember, chagas!  Was trying to recall the brain disease where a little worm (and friends) makes a home in one's noodle.

Goats and brain boring parasites, that ought to keep Al calm when Dorian makes landfall. BTW, I understand that will be a gray day. Someone better get a picture of Al that fateful day before the winds set him aloft.

We picture the Handsome Al Fansome (in spite of goats, parasites, and penguins but perhaps not moral support from a narwhal named Belinda) standing on a barren plateau with butt cheeks clenched and feet 18 inches apart, leaning into the hurricane winds, cape billowing behind him, crying out "DO YOUR WORST!"
