XFM, 6925am
« on: December 14, 2011, 0500 UTC »
XFM Shortwave, 6925.0am, 12-14-11, SINPO 15441
Fortunately, a pretty low noise floor is letting me hear a XFM broadcast.
ID at "just before 0500" came through pretty clear. Can make out some music
and the unmistakable XFM op.

0504z - Kenny Wayne Shepard - Blue on Black
Signal seems to be improving. Audio quality sounds quite nice.
0509z - Sheryl Crow - My Favorite Mistake (She'd be worth it)
0524z - ReFlex - Politics of Dancing.
0535z - Kiss - I Was Made For Lovin' You.
Much larger signal swings now. Peaks are S3 here to down below the noise floor.

Thanks XFM! Great to hear the first AM show.

Making the trip well into northern Canada tonight. The band is HOT! I wish there were more stations on.
Heard Kiss "I was made for lovin' you" and a remake of The 'Stones "Paint it Black". About S-3 to S-5 over noise of S-2.
Always great to hear you!

Next weeks contest: guess how many Volkswagons can fit in Joy Behars mouth. I pick five.
