Turtle Head Radio 6925USB 0200
« on: December 18, 2011, 0220 UTC »
My rx was parked on 6925.00USB, when I heard the announcement "Okay, here we go...You are listening to
Turtle Head Radio". I heard nothing following. Previous TXs from THR seem to have all been LSB, so???

0211 A trace of music popping up here

@0222 I seem to be hearing both Turtle Head Radio AND Rave On Radio here.

On the loop, THR is weak and intermittent, ROR is inaudible.
On the Dipole, Rave On is strong, and THR is weak and barely audible.

I have him also in USB, but very, very weak. Know there's something there, but can't ID it.

Fairly weak here, but heard playing 'I am Santa Claus' Ironman parody at 0230.  SINPO=35332

0232 - switched to LSB ?? hearing nothing on USB
0240 - now hearing USB and nothing on LSB
0250 - still USB, playing 'Mr. Grinch'.  Gave ID earlier several times, but missed it :-(
0256 - "All I want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth", then ID, which I missed again.  Announcer sounded like he had a strong norwegian accent.  Probably a repeat of Turtle Head Radio that was on earlier.
0304 - Wow, thanks for the shout-out!  I didn't hear that earlier.
0306 - gave me another shout and a very clear ID :-) thanks
0310 - yet another shout, 'refmo, you rock'  ;-)  another clear ID. Definitely Turtle Head Radio.  then into "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas".  stronger now SINPO=55433
Time to go play some rockband
