Sandspit was questionable two nights ago, but absolutely no question of its propagation last night.

Dhazari is interesting. It looks like an image of Alert Bay. Decodes are of the same time (as seen in the graph), Alert Bay is 200 bps, and can be transmitting with an ID of 301. So for some reason, there's a 4 kHz image of Alert Bay.

Back on Aug 31 in the early morning hours, 638 decodes from Alert Bay, no mention of Dhazari.
On Sept 4th, there were only 11 decodes from Alert Bay, none from Dhazari.
On Sept 7th, there were 18 decodes from Alert Bay, none from Dhazari.
No decodes from Alert Bay nor Dhazari Sept 8th - Sept 11th.
Sept 12th is when Dhazari shows up for the first time with 2 decodes. Nothing listed for Alert Bay.
Then on Sept 14th with increased decodes from Alert Bay, the doppelgänger on 305.0 kHz is clear.
No Alert Bay nor Dhazari on the 15th. Unknown if simply lack of propagation or transmitter problems.
Tonight on the 16th, its very obvious.

Unknowns
- Are the decodes on 305.0 kHz a transmission problem or something within my receiving system
- Did it switch to ID 301 after the 7th and thus why its showing up (in combination with some tx or rx problem)

Additional testing
Does this also appear on 313.0 kHz? While there are no listed decodes, there are also no stations on 313.0 kHz with an ID of 301, so it would be buried in the UNID list, which I do not normally check. I'll run additional decoding during the window of interest and see what is in the UNID list. May even tinker with the list of stations to add test stations with ID of 301 on other freqs to see how this wide thing is spreading.

307 kHz.

Alert Bay is 309 kHz
Your center frequency is 307 kHz
So I suspect Dhazari on 305 kHz is an image. 309-307=2, 307-305=2.

When I typed 307, I thought the same thing, but its new behavior and never have seen it before.

Checked the waterfall this morning- mirror image for a bunch of signals around the center. Stopped & restarted Studio1, no change. Stopped it, power cycled the AFE822x, started it, no change. Checked settings for the AFE822x, its fine. Then on a whim decided to reboot it. Yup, that fixed it. Waterfall looks normal and not mirrored. winderz... egad what a pile.

All software is broken, some software is useful.

Glad you got it fixed.

Isn't that the truth.

Well it's working now, or I should say, it was working a few minutes after the reboot. Will it stay working or not is the question. When it comes do winderz, my confidence is about as low as it gets.

However, only have about a year left of the U.S. stations.
