UNID 6965ish DSB? 2231 UTC 18 Sept 2019
« on: September 18, 2019, 2241 UTC »
I have something here at 2231 UTC that seems to be distorted music on DSB and impossible to tune in properly
Still going at 2240 UTC
2249 UTC Sounds like eerie scifi music....maybe a spur from somewhere?

I can hear weak music fading in above the noise at times on 6966 LSB. But the noise level is indeed high today.

on 6965 DSB        direct
2323 very weak music, on both sidebands
2327 better on the U side, but that changes often
2330 couple of words, then the audio is weaker, barely at noise level lost

SDR recording catchy. Spacey music from 2228 UTC. I do not think this was DSB, pretty sure it was SSB. Now as to the exact mode and frequency...  difficult to tell. I think it was close to 6966 LSB, but honestly I don't have the inclination to try all the possibilities.
