I saw it a few minutes ago, but I'm so used to big UTE signals, I figured that's what it was, until I checked it! Audio is loud, if somewhat bassy, heavily compressed.

2101 UTC - S9+ on Chris' kiwi, S7 on Denton Hill kiwi. Playing Just What I Needed by the Cars.
2104 - Eddie Money - Think I'm in Love
2108 - Eddie Money- Baby Hold On (Live) cut into Love Me Two Times midsong
2110 - Cars - Don't Cha Stop
2112 - Back into Eddie Money live, midsong
2119 - Started SSTV, cut back to music, then another SSTV
2122 - Cars - Bye, Bye Love
2125 - L.A Woman

2102 UTC "You're Just What I Needed"-The Cars (S5 peaks with light fades amidst the noise)
2103 UTC "Think I'm In Love"-Eddie Money
2106 UTC "Baby Hold On"-Eddie Money, segue into "Love Me Two Times"-Aerosmith cover version
2109 UTC "Don't Cha Stop"-The Cars, segue into "Two Tickets to Paradise"-Eddie Money
(Seems to be some kind of roaring utility station noise QRM)
2115 UTC "Think I'm In Love"-Eddie Money(Song interrupted at 2118 UTC for aborted SSTV, back to the song, then SSTV again.

2121 UTC "Bye Bye Love"-The Cars
2125 UTC "LA Woman"-cover version segue into "Love Me Two Times"-Aerosmith cover
2131 UTC OFF

Thanks for the tunes Skunk Hole! Too bad the utility noise was making for tough listening......

Aerosmith, the band that stole the New York Dolls stage act and sound outright. The Dolls in drag for photo ops were more manly than Aerosmith w/o make-up.

The Dolls also inspired the Ramones, which in turn inspired the creation of the Sex Pistols, and then punk was born.

The Dolls also inspired the Ramones, which in turn inspired the creation of the Sex Pistols, and then punk was born.

The connection was a little more direct, because Malcolm McLaren road-managed the disastrous last Dolls tour in 1975, which gave him the taste for rock n roll that he took back to London. But the Ramones' first tour of the UK in 1976 was pivotal too.
