« on: October 17, 2008, 1312 UTC »
10/17/08, 6924.7 AM, 0150-0210 UTC: Captain Morgan with somewhat steadier than usual signal and more complete songs rather than eclectic medleys.  Electric Light Orchestra, "Evil Woman"; 0154z: "You're in the pirate zone with Captain Morgan" ID; Albert Hammond "It Never Rains in Southern California"; Carly Simon "You're So Vain".  Barely audible after 0205z, some QRM from CW near 6924 (possibly French military, per previous logs of CW near here).
SINPO - 23322, only occasionally audible enough to ID familiar songs.
(N. Central TX - Palstar R30C with fugly homebrewed loop.)
