"A" on 2MHz beacon off the air?
« on: September 28, 2019, 0416 UTC »
I'm not sure exactly when I stopped hearing it since band conditions have been fickle but, I made a point of listening early today and heard nothing. Tonight I'm not hearing it and also checked some web SDRs and other sites but without any luck. This beacon has been super consistent over the years so I am surprised I am not catching it all.

Hopefully someone has heard it today! Let me know!

Still nothing here so based on your input it is definitely off the air.

Hope it is resurrected soon!

Nothing here in San Tan Valley, Arizona. SE of Phoenix. I can most of the time hear it days and always at night so I will concur with my fellow listeners that it seems to be off the air. Hopefully to return, as mentioned, this one has been an old friend for many years.

No sign of A here this morning. I believe it was absent Friday morning when I checked, but I may have chalked that up to propagation. Windy coming in, although with a weaker signal than usual.

I've had the radio tuned to 2097 for a while this morning, nothing heard from A. Hopefully it will return soon.

I do have Windy as usual on 4102.8 CW.

SecretLab caught it on the air today.   https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,62069.0.html

Thanks to whoever resurrected the beacon as it is most welcome to hear its signal again.
