1705 WHOT? ID. Hey.... I listed to pirate station WHOT back in the 80s, I think I even called in one or two times.
1713 Off. Funny how this station  goes off once it is logged.  ;D

I spotted it on your kiwi around 1647 UTC... S7 to S9 at times, but the scatter waves were hitting almost vertical on the waterfall. Noticed a lot of FMing in the carrier, but audio quality was decent. A bit of distortion but a lot of that was probably attributed to propagation effects.

I heard Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen and Wild Mountain Honey by Steve Miller among the DJ chatter and sound effects. Reference to July 4th weekend was made a few times. Vintage jingles sounded like it could be WHRC or maybe WHAT, but the phase error made it difficult to make out. I'd give it SIO 343.

Station terminated it's broadcast abruptly at 1711 UTC. Observed carrier drift away while descending in frequency.
