WHYP 6875 AM
« on: December 25, 2011, 1504 UTC »
12/25/2011, 6875 kHz AM,

1500 UTC "Let it whip",
start of the Christmas retrospective show.

Lots of info about the original WHYP and James Brownyard airchecks.

1527- Robbie Brownyard from India "I hope that Santa brought you the sock-puppet you asked for, when you wrote for a QSL."
"The sock-puppets were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that Pat Murphy soon would be there". LMAO!

Commander Bunny driving a sleigh pulled by his sock-puppets, "Bouncer and Thumper and..." a couple names I didn't recognize, hmmm.

1531 excerpts from Christmas 2001 punk rock show. Cover 'Feliz Navidad'

Peaking at S20/9 in Lansing MI

SINPO=55445

Just very slight fading at regular intervals.

Thanks for the replay, WHYP!  Finally was able to catch it and listen through.
