I always get a kick out of the public service advice that follows after gambling/casino/lottery commercials. Usually it is something like, "Bet responsibly. Have a gambling problem? Call 1-800 BAD-LUCK". How foolish! The problem is not GAMBLING but rather LOSING. If Al bets the doublewide two doors away from Amelia's doppelgänger attempting to pull a royal flush asking for one card, needing the queen, and does so - no one is sending Al away to curb his luck. What needs to be cured is losing.
PS - So what you are saying Al is that without the Blacksox Scandal, there wouldn't have been the Charleston and Flappers - oh, the inhumanity of it all.
