Signal is S8 but steady and no fades. Rock song, unid, heard at the moment. Thanks for the show.

Signal is much better now at 0020 utc, still showing S8 but much louder imo. Now there are some fades.

Was already sitting on 6930 and I barely hear anything.
Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, 7mhz backyard dipole, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com

SDR recording catch. Signal was fair to good, unfortunately there was some local QRM of some sort right on this frequency, and then the signal was pretty much gone by 0100. Thanks for the show. I liked hearing "Mean Street" by Van Halen, I always thought "Fair Warning" was an underrated LP.
