11 meters is pretty active. I'm listening to 27.385 LSB. Stations coming in from Ohio, Oklahoma, Kansas and Connecticut very strong.

Same here in the midwest. Wish I had SSB on my transceiver but nice hearing some skip again especially after I got my antenna back up.
I'm not saying aliens are in the radio, but aliens definitely are in the radio.

There is some idiot causing trouble. Unfortunately instead of ignoring the person, some people are feeding into it. There's always a bad in the bunch. Its too bad. The majority of the people just wanna make QSO's and enjoy themselves. Thats one thing I don't miss. I worked a lot of DX on 27.385 and well above 27.405. Most of it around 27.555. I sometimes think about getting an RCI-2950 or HR2510 in the mobile, but the activity is so sporadic, I don't think it would be worth it. The other thing is that when the 10/11 meter bands are open, there is way more activity on 11 meters. In the mid to late 90's 10 meters was jumping.

11m has been active here for a few hours now, I noticed the Wallops Island foF2 reading was about 7 MHz so I decided to check it out.

I haven't had time to listen lately. Glad to hear that 10/11 meters are having openings.
