SINPO 34232 here @044. What I can make out sounds pretty cool. "Put the Lime in the Coconut" @054--SINPO34343--assuming same B/C w/"You've been listening to..." but didn't copy name. Caught "You've been listening to Radio Junk" ID by YL @0103. Signal has been getting better for me here over the last half hour or so. Thanks Radio Junk!

Radio Junk (via HPRS?), 6925u, 1-11-12, SINPO 25432
Came on at 0037z with some music followed by the word "junk" in CW around 0040z.
Male voice saying "junk" repeatedly and "shortwave".

0046z - "Hi, this is Mick (or Nick) from Radio Junk on ......pirate radio frequency"
0100z - version of "Twist and Shout"
0120z - signal improved to S5-S6
0129z - "QSL via Belfast" in CW
0143z - faded out completely (If it faded for Joe, it isn't my antenna  ;D)

Thanks for the show Radio Junk (and HPRS?)

I didn't hear the High Plains Relay Service ID, but I'll defer to the DOD grade equipment sucking up all the RF ;)

1/11/12, 6925 USB, 0037z
I missed HPRS ID, but heard partial CW ID.  Recognize this Radio Junk show from last year, "Radio Junk" by Yellow Magic Orchestra, cover of "Once In A Lifetime", audio bits from Venture Brothers ("My girlfriend sent me to prison"), funky collages of various audio bits.  Radio Junk ID's by what sounds like a real human gal ("Nix" or "Nicks"?) rather than those fembots.  Eclectic program with very good production quality.

SINPO=33423, lots of fading and usual local RFI, but enough clear peaks above noise to identify even some unfamiliar stuff.  Peaked S9 around 0115z, then faded to nil by 0120z.  The ionosphere is made of Swiss cheese - more holes than cheese.

Thanks for the show, RJ, and relay, HPRS!  Good stuff and very good signal considering my puny indoor setup.

HPRS putting a fair signal into NH this evening, peaking S6 and staying mostly above the noise level which is fairly high here tonight.

0141z Smoke Rings
