Korean Broadcast 6255 AM 2010 UTC 09 December 2019
« on: December 09, 2019, 2014 UTC »
Should be moved to Clandestine Stations.

Program of music and talk. Sounded a lot like Japanese to me and thus I thought it was NHK, but in retrospect it was missing some of the telltale phrases and sounds.

Not // NHK output on 9625 and 9670 KHz, which come from Japan.
Still on at 2140 UTC. Not // Voice of Korea in Japanese on 7580 and 9650 KHz.
Transmitter is still on the air at 0100 UTC 10 December.

On 10 December 1800 UTC undergoing jamming.

Yeah, the fact that it is being jammed is a big indication that it's Korean and not Japanese.

KOREA SOUTH. 3985 // 4880 // 5995 // 6245 // 6350 // 9095, Echo of Hope - VOH, 1150 UTC, Dec 24 (Tue.).
English language lesson, but mostly in Korean.

Also, Voice of Freedom, on new 5920, on Dec 24, from 1158+ UTC. Strong, unjammed signal, making for good
reception; this was due to the heavy N. Korea jamming still being on ex 6045. Now is the time to catch VOF in
the clear!
