A new catch for me off the DC-based SDR.  Radio Romania International is coming in quite well....strong signal here.

I tend to get that well here in Colorado when it starts off, but as the hour progresses CRI in Vietnamese on the same frequency rises and then takes over. That's all that can be copied the last 20 minutes of the 2300 UTC hour here.

Same for me.  Most often CRI wins out.  :(
Default RX location is Wisconsin using various wire antennas. Other RX will be noted.

Usually get pretty good reception into Florida. I don't recall getting interference from CRI. Do you know where the transmitter is located for that CRI broadcast? I may just be lucky and don't pick it up on the East coast.

The transmitter for CRI's 2300 utc broadcast is in Xianyang, China.

Here is a resource to find what broadcaster is transmitting on what frequency, in what language, and from where.

As long as we started with RRI, I am now (1210 utc Jan 15) receiving them very well on 13750 and not at all on 15460.  Usually, the latter frequency booms in with just a trace on 13750.
Tecsun H501x (broadcast received on this unless noted), Zenith T/O G500, Zenith T/O Royal 7000, Emerson AR-176, Zenith 8S154, T/O 7G605 (Bomber), Tecsun PL-600, Tecsun PL-880, Zenith 5S320, Realistic DX 160 using 40 feet of copper wire.  With apologies to Senator Gramm for his thoughts on firearms, "I have more radios than I need but not as many as I want."

It's interesting to see what propagates to Florida. I know someone who often copied Voice of Korea in the winter months when they transmit in English to Central America at 0400 on 25, 22, and 19m. You would think that between winter, the low solar flux, and the hour that those transmissions wouldn't make it to Florida, but apparently they do.*  The only time I have ever copied BPM (China's time signal station), I was in Florida. I couldn't find it when I was on the Pacific coast in Washington, but I could in Florida. Go figure.

* I can't say that I recall seeing any reports from that DXer this year, so the deep solar minimum may finally be affecting these signals. I'll need to try to check some online SDR's there at that time over the next few evenings to see if they're there.
