Quite a bit of activity 16 Feb 2020
« on: February 16, 2020, 2036 UTC »
I relocated my 10/11m folded dipole to about twice the previous height, and was rewarded with improved signal levels from the locals on channels 32 AM and 38 LSB, as well as some DX. The DX activity varied quickly, the band would open for a few minutes now and then with activity on multiple channels, then go back again to being quiet with only some local activity.

Any out of band activity? On say, 26.915 MHz or any of the other freeband 27 MHz SSB freqs?

I did not notice any the few times I checked. Lots of activity on CB yesterday (17 Feb 2020) afternoon as well.

Can't wait for Irish Church Radio season to start in a few years  ;D

Lots of activity above the CB band today, 18 Feb 2020, circa 1830 UTC. Just heard an SS op on 27435u saying he was from costa rica.
