XFM 4185 AM 0225 UTC 01 Mar 2020
« on: March 01, 2020, 0226 UTC »
S9 with Redhat giving a time check and starting the show, nice signal
0233 - Redhat giving shoutouts to HFU listeners
0241 - "Dear Life" Beck, S9+
0302 - tribute to Byteborg
0333 - talking about Pvris.  They were originally called Paris but changed it for legal reasons.
0342 - "No Jesus Christ" Seether, S9
0359 - "Dissolve" Absofacto [gonna have to add him to my playlist, along with his other band, Mason Proper.  So much music, so little time.]
0405 - "Take The World" by She Wants Revenge [arrgh, another one for the playlist]
0409 - "Two Girls" Ringo Deathstarr
0420 - lol
0428 - Redhat talking about going outside and looking at the stars. I went out to walk the dogs.  Clear night here too with the crescent moon and Orion looking very nice.
0430 - "Running Up That Hill" Meg Myers [geez, another for the playlist]
0510 - "Rhinestone Eyes" Gorillaz, back up to S9+, sounding excellent
0519 - "Doin' Time" Lana Del Rey [nice cover]
0537 - "Pedestal" Phantogram [thanks!  I have been a fan of Phantogram for several years.  They had a regional hit here with "You Don't Get Me High Anymore" on the indy stations (what few are left - they are getting bought up by the big syndicates and are quickly headed to bankrupcy)]
0550 - I'm calling it a night, still sounding great here...

Thanks for the great show!
How about some Phantogram?

Hello Redhat. Catching  the Mighty X somewhere under the stars at 0256 with White Reaper playing via the NA5B SDR. Also heard you chatting about the best of 2019 to arrive in mailboxes around June sometime. Very cool dude! Signal is S7-9 with some fading and audio excellent as always! Thanks for the show and if you are doing requests, how about David Bowie’s “Hero’s”. Keep rocking the HF airwaves!
Thanks for playing my request Redhat!

First station I've heard on a used Tecsun PL-660 that I just picked up at the Winterfest for a few bucks. Fair with just the whip antenna when the sync detector kicks in. Thanks for the show!
