Metro Radio International 6925 AM 2310 UTC
« on: February 19, 2012, 2312 UTC »
Just signed on, heard some air raid sirens, into music - "The Metro" by Berlin, I believe.

S7 signal. YL and OM in talk, and into more music. Possibly this is Metro Radio International?

I heard the sirens from another room, and when I got to the RX, the song had started.
Around S4, but so is the noise.
2315 I'm hearing OM/YL DJs  --  cud be Metro again?  I did not get the ID, but the DJs sound the same as MRI last night.

Was recording during dinner; came back to hear solid MRI ID at 2350.  Better copy than a half hour ago, but still high noise.
Peaked up a bit around 0001 during DJ talk, but was taking some QRM from someone in EE on LSB.
0014 Some DJ conversation - hard to make out
0017 Back to music - peaking again
0023 Some major peaking to around S9+10 during the last musical selection
0025 Appears to have faded or shut down

Thanks Metro Radio International!

Having a tough time copying this one. Maybe S2 to S3, with a few higher peaks out of the noise from the plasma screen. I hear an announcer talking at 2341z.

Metro Radio International, 6924.6am, 2-19-12, SINPO 13441
Tough copy here too, but able to pull out some music and mostly a YL op speaking at 2352z

Signal seems to be improving somewhat. Heard male/female ops talking about Neil Young right around
0000z.

0024z - End of a live tune, then off. Some nice S5 peaks here near the end.
