"Мода, Мода, Мода я 06542, приём" being translated is "mayday mayday mayday, I'm 06542, copy".
Not. Мода - this is the call sign of the communication site.

Аircraft and ships for the transmission of a distress signal the English word Mayday is used.
Example:
Recording on the international disaster frequency of 2182 kHz of the dispatcher of the rescue coordination center of Vladivostok Radio. Ship "Sunrise" patience disaster in the Sea of Japan after a collision with a Korean ship (December 2010).

"Мода, Мода, Мода я 06542, приём" being translated is "mayday mayday mayday, I'm 06542, copy". Russian naval air employs 5 digit ids to aircraft, dunno if this is related to their tail numbers or a per mission id.

While I doubt this transmission is related, last week USAF and CANFORCE fighters escorted Russian sub hunters as they skirted the Alaskan coast.

Thank you for the correction, I mistook your "Fashion is consonant with Mayday" as indicative of the word being mayday.

If you find p3/8 is orbiting a specific spot via your adsb, it may indicate they have found the Krasny Oktobre (euphemism for Russian submarine), and especially if multiple flights converge on an area. You might also try your hand at ais monitoring;

P3’s aren’t used for sub hunting anymore but the P8’s definitely could be.

"Мода, Мода, Мода я 06542, приём" being translated is "mayday mayday mayday, I'm 06542, copy".

приём ("pree-yohm") in general, everyday conversation means "welcome" but in radio can be translated as "copy?" but also in practice we might use it as "over", as in "over to you".
