2256z Good signal in New Hampshire, S7-S8 with noise peaks S9 but not too bad so far
2259z Op has a call from Yeah Man Radio (who's having some trouble getting on the air)
2303z Def Leppard request from PirateSWL
2311z Shutting down for a bit while he guests on Yeah Man Radio (6925)
2313z Back... Copy a bit tougher now, S6 with S9 noise

Tuned in at 2258utc, only hear increased noise from storms approaching from the west.

Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, 7mhz backyard dipole, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com

Very tough copy even with all the DSP NR cranked.. Shazam decoded it as Def Lepard @ 23:05
