Last nite via fabulous Buick car radio I tuned in to AM530 multicultural radio. Wondered who this was as there was different langs coming in as one sta faded revealing another.

CIAO pretty much has the 530 spot all to itself.   It's location in Brampton ON is not that far from
here but the signal is sporadic.  Can sometimes hear a Cuban at night playing nice music on 530.
There is (was) a beacon at 529 that would have a good nighttime CW signal but haven't heard it
in quite a while.
Anyway, nice catch from IN.

Checked 530 @ 1559R and CIAO coming in well, off channel splatter caused me to tune up 10kc to 540, KWMT from FT Dodge Ia with nx/wx was coming in strong. Nice propa for the time.

Checked 1040 WHO out of Des Moines in wx for central Ia wich normaly isn't in till after sunset and both WHO and WCBS on 880 with traffic condx were coming in well @ 1730R.

The nice music station that Pinto refers to is Radio Encyclopedia from Cuba. It plays pleasant music.

530am coming into NH pretty OK with some slight fading in and out from another station I can't make out.
