Sycko Radio 6933 USB 0124 UTC 7 April 2020
« on: April 07, 2020, 0131 UTC »
Came on right after Virus 19 Radio ... listening via SDR in Warrenton, Virginia. A lower signal than Virus 19's. But I just checked my radio here near Seattle, and it's audible above the noise floor here.

0124 UTC: Started with "Pirate Radio" by Mojo Nixon.
0129 UTC: ID over electronic music.
0131 UTC: "Moving in Stereo" by The Cars.
0136 UTC: OM announcer with ID, talking about "morons" hoarding TP, etc., says he knows somebody recovering from the virus. Noisy signal all of a sudden!
0138 UTC: ID into "Turn Up the Radio" by Autograph.
0143 UTC: ID and a bit of chat into "Lonely is the Night" by Billy Squier.
0148 UTC: "Overture/The Temples of Syrinx" by Rush.

Thanks for the music, Sycko!

Huh, I didn't notice that much of a change in signal quality and thought this was still Virus 19 Radio. Guess I need to cut and paste what I was still logging there to this post.

Will listen until band drops, but in spring 43 meters is currently the better choice.

My Radio has a 6khz pass and your audio is excellent, could NOT be better. No more BW needed, and in fact more unneeded BW brings in more QRM and NOISE.
