Relay of classic Radio Azteca program, which was just great to hear with high production values and fun, edgy humor, just as remembered. SINPO=45444 here, at least, which is a rare treat.
2331- Rocky & Bullwinkle Theme
2331- Bram IDs station.
2331- Western music, followed by Top Ten Radio Netherlands calls (which sounded perfectly matched for the pandemic, with no one working in the office).
2333- Monty Python's Flying Circus Theme.
2334- Bram IDs station. Nobody has the balls to say it like we do! Followed by 60s sounding music.
2334- Doctor Radio Show. He answers all your questions. Lots of great DX inside humor, framed as letters from listeners, ala DX Mailbag, World of Radio, etc. Manual dexterity necessary for DXpeditions, most exotic QSLs seen (including Mr. Microphone used by neighbors and one from G. Gordon Liddy for a Watergate bug), lots of edgy questions from Jean Guy from Montreal, Blazing Saddles "Here comes Mongo," and address at Pennsylvania Dept of Corrections, Smegma, OK (thinly veiled parody).
2340- Drum and percussion music with exotic sound.
2340- Bram IDs, The beacon of truth for the DX hobby...You think this stuff is easy, listen to this," and then parodies Spanish SWL station IDs ala the 80s/90s (with plenty of "Jesus Christs").
2341- Upbeat jazz music with electric guitar.
2341- Bram bringing show number 12 to a close...had fun...already getting ready for show 13. Extraordinarily annotated reception notes, 3 stamps and a jar of vaseline sent to Wellsville, NY mailbox address for QSL. Parting advice to never (something) a fresh turd.
2343- Trumpet style interval signals (played 12 times).
2344- Music, exotic style with drums and low chanting.
2345- Bram in his beautiful Spanish station IDing.
2347- Radio Azteca back for show number 17, including nice sound effects for Chappaquiddick Bridge and extensive discussion of glow-in-the-dark condoms....
Plus much more ballyhoo and hootenanny. Great stuff!
Wondering who is relaying these great shows and if it could be the great Bram Stoker (not of Dracula fame) himself. Wonderful to hear and enjoy again after many years.
Would just love a QSL rejection (or rejection-rejection, which might cancel out the original rejection?) Great signal and sound quality tonight.
