Captain Morgan Shortwave 6925 AM 0137Z March 24
« on: March 24, 2012, 0140 UTC »
Came on with TZ IS, "Gather around me little buccaneers," great signal here tonight S9.

0140 "Heard It In A Love Song," Marshall Tucker Band
0144 ID, "Midnight Rider," Allman Brothers
0148 "Ventura Highway," America
0150 ID, signal disappeared

Captain Morgan was so strong here that I never heard the interfering station. It's very weak in the background now and I can't make it out at all.

Thanks Captain!

El Capitan noted signing on at 0138 with the "gather round me little buccaneers and I'll spin a yarn for ya". Multiple IDs at 0144.
Another station signed on at 0148 QRMing the Captain.

Noted from 0137 s/on with details as others noted above.  Strong sig bouncing around between S9+4 and +16, so I guess that's not a bad place to be bouncing, wot?  Quick s/off 0151.  The QRM hrd here was an OM-YL SS QSO on the USB.

Thanks Captain!

As of 0159, Morgan now on 6950AM.
