2328 UTC I have music here on 6872.1 AM
2330 UTC Sounds like "All Over the World"-ELO?
2332 UTC OFF I think  :( Nope...back up again!  :)
2334 UTC Faded out or OFF again?
2335 UTC Shazam says "Lost Rain to Rhonda"-Jean Claude Gavri...second time Shazaming says "Last Train to London"-ELO!

Signal picking up nicely now at S7....very nice audio!
2340 UTC Unid synthesizer instrumental followed by an interesting jazzy classical piano instrumental. Sounds like the soundtrack to a movie....
2347 UTC OFF, then back on with more piano music
2349 UTC "Ticket To the Moon"-ELO
2352 UTC Unid dance mix cover of "We Can Work It Out"
2358 UTC Unid dance mix cover of "Hey Jude"
I believe this is our good friend Marvin the Martian!  :)
0015 UTC I could clearly make out the ID "Radio Free Mars"  :)

Thanks for the interesting tunes!  8)

SINPO=22222 (UTE QRM and noise. Maybe some whistling too?). Up to SINPO=44333 by 2335.

2331- "All Over The World" by ELO.
2332- Off and then back with same song at 2333.
2334- Carrier off and on seemingly. Then off.
2335- Back on with "Last Train to London" by ELO. SINPO=44333 now.
2340- 80s video game Pac Man tune turned into an electronic instrumental song.
2341- Piano song, can't ID.
2342- Keyboard music with repeating melody. Then orchestral sounding, George Gershwin?
2345- Keyboard music with repeating melody again. Then orchestral again, followed by piano music. Sort of a mashup.
2347- Off, then back on with more piano music.
2348- "Ticket To The Moon" by ELO.
2352- Electronic dance version of "We Can Work It Out" by Beatles.
2357- Electronic dance version of "Hey Jude" by Beatles.
0001- Piano music repeating again. Heard distorted voice twice, at end of each repetition of the tune.
0002- "All Over The World" by ELO again. 0006- Video game sounds over music.
0007- "Last Train To London" by ELO again.

0016- Pac Man music, followed by repeating piano music and clear "Radio Free Mars" ID by OM. Then repeating piano music continues.
0018- Keyboard music with repeating melody again. Followed by same musical mashup of melodies as before.
0020- Off.

Fair signal via NA5B near Washington, D.C. ...

2343 UTC: Piano music -- sounds like no one particular piece in particular.
2347 UTC: Signal seemed to go off a moment, then back on with "Ticket to the Moon" by ELO. Sounds like the modulation's not quite right at times, but that might just be reception conditions.
2351 UTC: Sounds like a modern remix of The Beatles' "We Can Work it Out." The signal's really fading at times.
2357 UTC: Remix or dance cover of Beatles' "Hey Jude" with a couple videogame sound effects added in.
0001 UTC: Back to piano music, interrupted by a distorted-voiced ID for "Radio Free ...," then "All Over the World" by ELO, along with some more videogame sound effects added.
0007 UTC: "Last Train to London" by ELO, according to Shazam. Signal's really fading out now.

Thanks for the music, Radio Free Mars!

2325 Just barely audible music.  2345 suddenly bursts to very audible S5 for about 15 seconds, then drops out entirely.  Fades back in, then n and out of the static floor with mellow music, perhaps ID at a couple of points.

S3 (static floor here right now) to brief S4 peaks.
