Would have thought WRMI would have been first on the docket with the amount of time Mr. & Mrs. Weiner are in Florida.  ;)

It is good to see the dying radio market still holding some interest.

Nice to see Weiner's going to keep it on the air. Some ministries are running into financial difficulty with Covid-19, and I wonder if it's the same with the former owners.

I wonder how long any of these domestic SW stations will remain on the air, though.

Allen keeps surprising me with his ambition, always something bigger since RNI was on MTV back in the days. I wonder what he plans to put on it?

KBear -

I listened to the final few minutes of Angela and Allen Weiner World Wide at 0055 utc, 5 Sep and he talked about the ongoing dealings to acquire WHRI, including to praise their staff.  I think he summed up intended programming for the former WHRI frequencies by saying...."we will continue to spread HIS word." Also in the final few minutes, he complained mightily about electric rates in Maine, perhaps a hint that the WBCQ operation will be heading south?

Well now, he does spend a lot of time in Florida, so there could be something to a Southern move. Guess we'll wait and see. Isn't his current wife from there?
I was asked, yet another weird question, of how I would like to be buried, when I finally bite the big one. The answer was actually pretty easy. Face-down, like a certain historical figure in the late 1980's, (I will not mention who, but some of you will get it, and that's enough.) Why??? It would be a burial that will satisfy everyone: (1) My enemies will say that it will show me where to go. (2) On the same point, I can have my enemies kiss my butt. (3) It will temporarily give someone a place to park a bicycle. See??? A WIN / WIN for everyone.

Also mentioned in final five minutes of broadcast was that Angela was originally from Canada, when a caller phoned in from Toronto.

Sadly it's about the only format left that is self sustaining...that or conspiracy talk.

Religious broadcasts are OK overseas, when you hear them in foreign languages with native language singing and the like.

I've tuned into some of the World's Last Chance broadcasts, and some of the bumper music (symphonic) is OK. The broadcasts themselves sound like they were produced in the UK. Not your typical US flamethrower preachin' stuff.
