Renegade Radio 6925 USB
« on: April 30, 2012, 0229 UTC »
6925.05 USB

All in the Family theme, followed by Renegade Radio ID
Unknown blues tune.
Station ID
Dazed and Confused by Zeppelin

Pretty good signal through the QRN. Peaking around an S8 or so. SIO 433

The band is really starting to go to hell here. Reception is down and static is up, which is a bad combo. Did hear him mention of Boris the Radio Cat though. Sweet!

Renegade Radio, 4-30-12, 0229-0352*, 6.925U, sigs at S7-9 w/hvy static hr, hearing hard rock tune, ID as "Renegade Radio, Pirate Shortwave" then more hard rock.  Ancr said 1st tune was Black Sabbath, 2nd tune was Led Zepplin, and the next tune will be Black Sabbath.  Says we get 2 for 1 on the tunes tonight.  Shout-out to me at 0307.  Thanks!  Off with computer sounding voice:  "You have been listening to Renegade Radio."

My bad on the station ID. It's not Redwood as I first thought, but Renegade Radio.

Pretty fair S-3 copy in northern Canada. Had a few fades but pretty steady copy for over an hour.
Please QSL to MaplRadio@gmail.com

Next weeks contest: guess how many Volkswagons can fit in Joy Behars mouth. I pick five.
