Tentative Metro Radio International 6950AM 2356z
« on: May 07, 2012, 0000 UTC »
7May12

Weak AM carrier noted; only a snatch of audio.

0004 Did note some OM talk.
0020 - 0023 An AM fired up on 6955 playing metal, and this obscured 6950 for a time.
0029 Tentative ID heard: "Metro .... International"  Good carrier (S6), low modulation here.
0045 Seems to be there still, but not a lot of audio.
0058 Carrier just barely visible in the waterfall.
0105 Peaked up just a bit so that I could hear definite OM and YL DJ patter.
0145 Carrier still noted, but I haven't heard any audio since abt 0130

Thanks MRI!  Hope the test was successful.

Getting some bits of talk here. Decent carrier, but almost seems like periods of dead air. I think this is Metro Radio Int'l, but I'm not sure
