Wolverine 6940 USB 0033 UTC 06 SEP 2020
« on: September 06, 2020, 0034 UTC »
0033 testing 1 2 3
0034 Wolverine ID
0035 "Come Up and See Me Sometime" Ethel Waters
0038 "What's That Smells Like Fish" Blind Boy Fuller
0040 "I'm Beginning to See the Light" Duke Ellington
0044  Wolverine ID into "First Taste of Love" Ben E. King
0046 "I Can Hear Music" The Ronettes
0049 "Lovely to See You" The Moody Blues
0052 Wolverine ID into "Touch Me" The Doors
0055 "I Hear You Knocking" Dave Edmunds
0058 "Have You Ever Seen the Rain?" Creedence Clearwater Revival
0100 Wolverine ID into "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" The Rolling Stones
0108 "Back For a Taste of Your Love" Syl Johnson
0110 "Touch and Go" The Cars
0115 Wolverine ID into "Taste of Bitter Love" Gladys Knight & the Pips
0120 "Touch the Night" Neil Young
0124 Wolverine ID into "Reet Petite" Jackie Wilson (per shazam, I have my doubts that's actually what's playing) Shazam is screwed. I didn't know this song before but it's clearly Bananarama, and googling lyrics revealed that this is "I Heard a Rumour"
0128 "I Can See Clearly Now" Jimmy Cliff, or is it Johnny Nash? Hard to trust Shazam right now
0131 Wolverine ID into "I Smell Trouble" Buddy Guy
0134 unshazamable blues tune. Will see if I can make out enough lyrics and figure it out from that. (EDIT - never did get enough to use to google)
0138 Echoey Wolverine ID into SSTV

Thanks for the show!

I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com

Fair signal with some fading, but very good for a pirate signal during daylight out here near Seattle ...

0104 UTC: "Can't You Hear Me Knocking?" by The Rolling Stones. (Signal's good enough for the Shazam app to pick it up.)
0107 UTC: "Back for a Taste of Your Love" by Syl Johnson.
0110 UTC: "Touch and Go" by The Cars. The signal strength is fading deeper at times now.
0115 UTC: "Wolverine Radio" ID in the usual male voice for this station, then "Taste of Bitter Love" by Gladys Knight & The Pips.
0120 UTC: Not sure of the song, but sounds like Neil Young. Update: "Touch the Light" by Neil Young; Shazam finally grabbed it.
0124 UTC: ID, then "I Heard a Rumour" by Bananarama.

Thanks for the music, Wolverine!

Great oldies program, and excellent sound for the first thirty minutes. Interference and rough copy started right around 0100 UTC.
Thanks!
