Where there's smoke...

(1/4) > >>

jFarley:
Smoke from the west coast wildfires have made it here to Chicago.  This morning there was a decidedly blood-red sunrise, and now there's is a noticeable pallor to the noon sky.

ChrisSmolinski:
Same here in Maryland, the sky has a bit of a light grey haze.

pinto vortando:
Dramatic sunrise here in Michigan this morning, the sun was huge !

EricPeterson:
Pretty thick brownish haze here in Virginia as I drove out to Winchester.  The shadows were definitely muted. Is there a smoke particle RF absorption?  It's about 20-25k feet.

skeezix:
Its been like that here in Minneapolis as well. The GOES satellite photos sure are interesting with the spread of the smoke.
