Canivete Brazil:

Sketchy, but I have received Canivete twice recently. So plausible.

Marbat Oman:

This one turns up now and then, usually with 2 or 3 decodes. At almost 12,000 km it seems highly unlikely to be legit. Plus I was not getting any other DX from Europe for example (although it does seem like you occasionally get an opening to just one small region. This reminds me of something I read about multi hop propagation a while back, a theory that it really is not multi hop but rather some form of ducting. I think I posted something about it here on the HFU, now if only I could find it... It was by a Canadian DXer with a Russian name IIRC) What's curious is that it's on 310 kHz also, which is why I am mentioning it. Corrupted messages from Cape Norman?

Mersa Martruh Egypt:

Probably corrupted messages from Fox Island.

Propagation from a small area is absolutely possible. But are these decodes valid is another question.

I used to get a bunch from Russia & China, which were clearly bad decodes from U.S. stations.
