DGPS logs 08-09oct20 Clacton-on-Sea England
« on: October 09, 2020, 1441 UTC »
Good afternoon. Good TA from this side with 6 Canadian stations. Decodes dropped off a cliff at 20u24. I'll submit another post about it later when I've looked into it some more - either local qrn or recording issues as previoulsy discussed.

And a question about posting logs. Any idea why mine lose the column spacing when I copy and paste?

Regards

And a question about posting logs. Any idea why mine lose the column spacing when I copy and paste?

Use the Teletype format for the block of text. Its the Tt in the list of icons.

Thanks Skeezix. I think the problem is actaully in the text file generated by ADGPS - tab delimited. Viewed in Notepad its column spacing is offset after the City column. The REU.txt file is fine. See screenshot attached.

aargh! I'm not able to insert image! Or attach one.

I don't export it to a file, instead I copy the text to the clipboard, then paste it here into HFU in a new message. Then select the whole block, and click on the Tt icon.

On the Mac, you can use "Copy Formatted Text" under the Edit menu to copy everything to the clipboard. It should be called that on the Windows version, but can't remember which menu its under.

Yes, use Edit->Copy Formatted Text from ADGPS.  Then paste it here between the TT tags, and it will appear neatly formatted.
