UNID 6930 USB 2342 UTC
« on: November 28, 2020, 2343 UTC »
An old fashioned audio drama is playing based off of H.P. Lovecraft's "The Dunwich Horror". The station has a nice S8 signal here in Horicon, WI.

0006 UTC There seems to be a new radio drama playing, but the signal has dropped down to S4, so it's difficult to make it out.

2343 Fair to poor signal here, can't really make out the dialogue but it's apparently an old radio drama.

Nice signal into northern Ohio tonight.

At 0027 perhaps started a new show about a strange signal on shortwave. ON 3.7 KHz; 12.3 KHz; 6.5 KHz and 10.5KHz.

Now broadcasting various "other" types of programs including the Lincolnshire Poacher and numbers stations along with a Radio Sweden interval signal.

Tuned in at 2349utc, weak signal above low noise level, hear what sounds like drama program with man talking and dramatic music at times, at 0001utc hear bells followed by "this is the armed forces radio service" then organ music and male talking, at 0019 almost completely faded away.

Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, 7mhz backyard dipole, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com

Very weak at threshold audio in Albany, NY, 0034Z. Sound effects so sounds like an old time sci fi radio show.

Airspy HF+, SDR Console and/or SDR#, Wellbrook loop indoors.

0034 Sections of atmospheric music with a repetition of a numbers station call up and a set or 2, YL, old station IS for Stockholm, IS, various other old station IS (not familiar to me.) ID for Radio Nova into more IS and ID for old stations (Denmark and Vatican & many others,) more numbers, suddenly lost signal.

S4 and somewhat hard to make out.

Maybe not a Radio Nova authorized broadcast again?
