6/29/12, 6955 AM, detectable signal since around 0215z testing, but no clear ID audible until 0235z.  Very rough conditions, still haven't been able to copy any material well enough to ID anything.
0238z: Song with "on the radio" in lyrics, XFM "Power of X" ID
0247z: Pete Townshend "Rough Boys"
0253z: Kinks, 'ello, L.A., Lo-lo-lo-la-Lola
0257z: ID, shout-outs to listeners.
0305z: Lou Reed "Walk on the Wild Side"

SINPO=33232, very rough conditions.  Minor QRM from ute/data on 6960, main problem is QRN and fades.  Only occasionally peaking clear of the noise to copy some songs and IDs.

6/28/2012, 6955 kHz AM,

0240 "XFM"- 'We're doing a theme night'

Noise is horrendous. From 0242-0245... sounded like someone (or some thing) keyed up with a horrendous noisemaking transmitter. May have  come from the station itself somehow, or could have been local to me--hard to tell, but nothing else was being heard for those minutes. Wasn't lightning crashes, but continuous, then off.

SINPO now 45344.
0247 'Rough Boys'- Pete Townsend
