Athens Meteo Fax noted as active

(1/1)

fpeconsultant:
Saw a log of them from the other day - heard 0845-1145z on 8106.9kHz.  I believe the reporter was in Spain.  Close by, yes, but Athens was believed to have gone the way of Denmark, Cape Naval South Africa, etc.  So, apparently they are BXing.
Heads up,
FPE

Though they are basically in your backyard, that's a confirmation that they are absolutely active.
Thx for the heads up.
