Outhouse Radio 6935 USB 2341 UTC 31 Jan 2021

I had been recording Outhouse Radio and as I listened to the recording I realized that another station played at least three songs on the frequency after Outhouse Radio went off the air.

2334: "The Only Hell My Mother Raised"
2341: "Magic Carpet Ride"
2346: This song I could not ID. It sounded like a country gospel song.

Between the songs I was hearing some distorted talk that I was unable to understand, it almost sounded like a LSB signal.  Right now I believe that the talk was actually AD149 Radio on 6934.9 AM which would account for the distortion on 6935 USB. Other than the three songs there was at least one SSTV image that I can attribute to the unid station and that was a Scottie 2 image sent at 2345z.



On my recording I did hear at least two other SSTV images being sent but they were so weak I can not decode them. The times of the images were 2350 and 2355 and these two I think were sent by AD149 Radio. Perhaps others can check their recordings and verify if AD149 transmitted SSTV at those times.

Outhouse Radio ID'ed this as his broadcast in a following response to my post. He left the frequency as soon as AD149 was reported on 6934.9.

Caught the SSTV image you posted along with two others - also heard 'Fat Bottom Girls' by Queen, hence the text in the later SSTV's.

I did hear the other songs you mentioned - all tx I received was in USB on 6935 and fair to weak strength with fading conditions.  Down here in my neck of the woods, I do hear quite a bit of LSB peskie activity on 6930 - 6935.  Not that long ago, 6933 LSB seemed like the main frequency for a lot of that chatter.
