Radio Ga-Ga - 6925u 0225z 28-July-2012
« on: July 28, 2012, 0234 UTC »
Radio Ga-Ga doing fairly well in NH tonight battling high static levels, about even with the S8 noise.
Static was bad enough that though I could ID the base tunes I couldn't pick out the words of the parodies.

0225z On with some parody tunes of "Light My Fire", "Taxman", ...
0231z Radio Ga-Ga ID and Off

0225 On with what sounded like the "Magical Underwear Tour" and several other parodies e.g. "Stuck In the Middle With You", "Light My Fire", "Taxman".
0231 ID as "?? brought to you by Radio Ga-Ga, pirate shortwave" and off.

Massive noise from T-Storms in Kentucky made tough copy here though you be in about S8, and will need to review the audio later.

Thanks RGG!

SDR recording catch. S9+ signal level, but lots of t-storm static. Still good reception, overall.
