Radio Whatever 6900am 0207 UTC 7/30/2012
« on: July 30, 2012, 0209 UTC »
S8 fading down to S6, high static, with unrecognized modern tune with slower electronic beat.  Some CW interference just below on 6899 but easily removed with filter shaping on the SDR.  ID at 0214, but modulation muffled and difficult to understand.  Thanks to Beerus for the positive ID.  Finally got a clear ID at 0222 UTC.  Thanks for the show tonight!

Loud here in the Boston burbs. S9+10 but there is some QRM from a variety of sources... I even hear CW near here. Electronic music.

"DJ Sennheiser" with another ID at 0218z and then into a request for Maroon 5. Almost sounds live. Mention of tweaking the modulation.

Same heard on 6900 AM, 7/30/12, via east coast remote tuner.  Very good peaks with some fades to barely audible.
0307z: Red Ryder "Lunatic Fringe" followed by Radio Whatever and DJ Sennheiser (sp?), David Bowie/Freddy Mercury "Under Pressure".
0315z: Sign-off with email contact info.
