It was rather poor out west this year, a shame because it usually comes in very well (even last year, when it was just two months removed from solar minimum). But I did listen and I will again next year. I saved last year's recording and intend to compare it to the better moments of this year's airing, because a while back I heard Glenn Hauser claim that they've been rerunning the same show for years.

Interesting about the re-run tale.  I would believe it's possible.  There was mention that it was the 10th edition of the broadcast and the first I believe was in 2006.  However, I seem to recall music on other broadcasts and there was no music in the broadcast.  Three other things that caught my attention as possibly fresh: 1) Frequent mention of NYC and interview with woman from there.  I am a NYC native and would have recalled the numerous outreaches to the diaspora in the Big Apple. 2) There was mention of "no live interviews", I took this to mean because of COVID.  3) There seemed to be more English in the broadcast than I had previously remembered. However, I guess it is possible that this was an old program.

I did request a QSL though  :D.  Blue Moon...🌚  ;)

Good luck! I requested a QSL a few years back and got bubkes... and others from that year received one. That always bothers me when that happens.

Finally got a chance to compare recordings, and although this year's signal was pretty poor, there was enough to be able to tell that this year's broadcast was not the same as last year's. But the audio on last year's was pretty familiar compared to previous years (particularly the introduction of the first couple interviewed) so I think it's possible that they were repeating broadcasts for a while.
