8/7/2012, 6930 kHz USB,

0545 UTC, playing 'Ozark Mountain Daredevils' as later announced,
clear ID heard with some DJ chatter.

About S-3 in Lansing.

SINPO=24332

0618 UTC, pretty clear shoutout to 'The Poet' and others in the chatroom. Thanks for the shout, BOR!
"Back into Stevie Ray Vaughan".

Still going with random tunes at 0650 UTC.
Reception slowly improving since tuning in.

0730 UTC, "Blue Ocean Radio" 'coming from the west coast of North America'
announcing end of broadcast, and email address for eQSLs, blueoceanradio@gmail.com , and OFF.

0731, Eccentric Shortwave QSOing "saying hello and thank you for the show", strong here.
Blue Ocean's response was much weaker than the show material.

Thanks for the late show, BOR!

SDR recording: 0401 sign on with 2001 theme music. Fairly weak at that time, but noise levels lower than previous evenings, so fair reception overall.

Recorder catch:

6930 USB SIO 322-323

Signal with fading conditions started off fair, but about half way through broadcast picked up a bit - haven't gone all the way through recording, but like the 2001 theme kickoff music and later 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond' - by Pink Floyd.  Also heard some blues later on in the show and had a couple of clear ID's with shoutouts and part of the QSO at the end.

Thanks BOR! :)
