Assorted things 6925 0030Z
« on: September 08, 2012, 0036 UTC »
I have the receiver on 6925 and have heard an occasional whistle, voices saying something, sounds like there is a conversation in the background. Just heard something like "Hey Jerry can you copy me testing 12345 - 54321." QRN level very high here, we're surrounded by severe storms.

Also heard in GA. at a good level. Same here, nearly constant static crashes hanging around S6.

At 0035 sounded like "Hey guys, how's the copy?  Can you copy me?  1 2 3 4 5 5 4 3 2 1"

S9+2 in the QRN

I think I hear pescadores up 6925.52 kHz USB now. QRN is ridiculous here but I'll take it over a tornado.

There has been a nearly constant stream of pec/freebander activity heard here around 6925 tonight.  Chatter, whistling, and some singing.  At one point I thought I heard music (mike held up to a speaker?)

I heard the "Hey guys, how's the copy?  Can you copy me?  1 2 3 4 5 5 4 3 2 1" at 0035, as reported by jFarley.

0047: Some whistling. Pescadores I think, they were on 6925.5 USB. Heard past 0104z.
