Wow, a daytime Mexican (10,000 watts) from Tecate, Baja California to Oakland, the next nearest station on 1700 is in Texas.  Fair reception, noisy with fades. Spanish service.  About 500 miles from me, using PL 880.

1803 YL in Spanish
1808 YL continues
1812 YL and OM now talking, might be about sports - I clearly heard word "jugados"
1815 Deeper fades now, just barely over noise floor
1823 Surfaced again on peaks, YL and OM conversing YL mentions "Presidente, Mexico"
2256 YL and OM talking
2259 Commercials in Spanish
2300 ID "Heraldo Radio XEPE" then mention of the Spanish verb "esuchar" (listen)
