Radio Tanzania Zanzibar 11735AM 2003UTC 13Oct12

Most likely the one here in with a very good signal this afternoon.

2002 Tuned in just to the end of some YL talk, and no time to verify the language.  No ID at this time.
2003 Program of some really sweet contemporary Taraab.
2021 YL talk in Swahili, no ID heard, nor ment of the FM they sometimes relay
2022 Continuation of music program; neat Taraab on a rumba beat
2039 YL rapid-fire talk in Swahili with def ment of "Tanzania"
2040 Back to music; old-school now (18+ minutes long)
2100 Several "Spice FM" promos; running over sked
2102 Now into some Muziki wa Dansi mixed w/ OM talk
2117 Song by band which is definitely DDC Mlmani Park Orchestra
2123 off abruptly

Consistently solid S8-S9 reception and the best I have ever heard RTZ.

Heard in GA as well. Fair signal. Music and some announcements, then off abruptly.

I have been trying this one for a few months---Thanks for reminding me to try it again. Finally heard it here!
