0240 Carrier on and right into Call of the Fish Eagle IS
0251 NA by military band
0252 OM talk in apparent EE, but in a very low voice which was hard to hear.  Cud not pull ID.  Sounds like pgm notes followed.
0255 Soppy Western-sounding pop ballad.
0258 OM ment "Radio 2" several times
0300 pips, drums, and into EE nx.  Low voice and modulation made it tough to hear, but several ments "Zambia"
0305 YL promo for "Radio 2" and into some ZimPop

Fair at S6 on S4 noise, some t-storm QRN.

Nice catch.

All my time SWLing and DXing, I've never been able to hear Zambia or Zimbabwe  -- or South Africa's regional outlets, for that matter.
An AM radio Boombox DXer.
+ GE SRIII, PR-D5 & TRF on MW.
The usual Realistic culprits on SW (and a Panasonic).
