1710 KHz AM, 0414 UTC,  Pirate Radio Boston just signed on the air with 20th anniversary program featuring music, station history, etc.  Weak to fair on the fade-ups here with some competition from Radio Celestial and the NJ TIS station.  Wow - so great to hear you on the MW band!!!  Thanks!!!

Signal varies up & down but mostly readable given that it is competing against another station (maybe R. Celestial) and the TIS in NJ.
SINPO 33343  - I tuned to 1710 USB to filter out the noise and QRM. When PRB's signal increases to S9 it actually sounds better on AM. PRB's great audio really helps beat out the other stations.

0430 - music
0433 - Harry Smith QSL was read
0436 - ID given - Mr. Excellence gave next song info about original Alice Cooper Band
0437 - ID
0438 - QRM from TIS and another station
0442 - ID & email address given in the clear
0445 - music, Peter Toss
