New Beacon ??? 6702 dasher
« on: September 10, 2021, 0138 UTC »
While listening for Hexy2k I came across a dasher just higher in freq.  It appears to be a 1 sec dash spaced 15 seconds apart.  First hear it around 2330 utc.  Am still hearing it now at 0130 utc.

Anyone have any luck with this? I personally have had zero with the 6xxx beacons at my QTH or with SDR.

Spoke too soon!
Heard a double "whoop..... whoop" on 6700.29 on VE7GL at 0649Z. Came in at S-7
Further "whoops" not heard as band is chocked full of Asian fishermen tonight.

ahhh...  I think now that this is local to me and something other than a beacon.  Though it does fades (QSB) and then gets stronger threw the day.  But then why I am hearing it all day?  I have checked as many sdr's that I thought should be able to hear it, even a very close one just north of me in Northern Utah and have not heard it on any them.  Crazy...  thanks to those that looked for it.
