The legal 40 CB band is still blowing up, with numerous 25615-26955 region frequencies popping up too.  Looks like the pagers have mostly disappeared.   Of course, 27015 27.015 MHz CB channel 5 is very busy

I am hearing numerous signals on 27255 though:

27.255 MHz USB - Spanish language chatter
27.255 MHz LSB - Spanish language chatter - a different QSO
27.255 MHz AM - numerous AM carriers and signals going on at once
27.255 MHz FM - FSK signal, appears to be centered closer to 27256 27.256 MHz

Also in the upper part of the band:

27915 AM 27.915 MHz AM - Possibly a taxi cab dispatcher, taxi cab radio dispatch 27MHz
27975 AM 27.975 MHz AM - Spanish or Portuguese

At about 1800 UTC it seems the band might be closing a bit more?  The band seems to be quieting down

I'm at work, but I did check a SDR near D.C and heard a few big stations on 27.555 USB. 27.385 had some activity, but the signals were very weak.
